These paintings are done with acrylics on canvas, masonite and paper. Some required over a year, even two or three years of work to complete. I have over a hundred paintings in progress and I cycle through them, working on four or five each day. Many of these images depict what is known or imagined by the
mind, rather than what is actually seen.
I am trying to show more than a person could see with their own eyes - how things change over time, what is hidden underground and underwater, and scenes that are microcosms of the forces and patterns defining the world.
